3. Ammonia

Rats cannot tolerate the pungent smell of ammonia. Therefore ammonia is a strong and powerful rat repellent. Mix 2 cups of ammonia with 200ml of water and add 2 to 3 spoons of detergent to it. Place this mixture in a bowl near locations where rats are commonly found.
